Megan || Playing In The Rain

Last week, as I wrapped up some client editing and my work for the year really started winding down, I found it to be the perfect opportunity to dive back into something creative. I haven't shot anything specifically for my own enjoyment in a long time, and I think it's easy to forget to just have fun doing this sometimes. It's how I started, and I don't ever want to lose that excitement.

So, it only seemed fitting that I haven't gotten to shoot anything with Megan yet, and I was looking for a new person to work with. Megan is an absolutely wonderful person with a reserved, yet witty personality. Her sister is a fellow photographer, and so she was comfortable in front of the camera and was willing to do whatever I asked her to! Jump, lay down, roll in some puddles, you name it. I love that she was down for whatever and that allowed me to push my creativity even harder! I can't tell you how refreshing it felt just to try different things for the sake of seeing how they turned out. Thanks for laying on wet gravel and hugging some tree branches for me, Megan. 

Also, shoutout to my roommate / friend / badass hairstylist Alex Stevens for putting together a solid look! She cuts and colors Megan's hair which seriously looks so awesome already on it's own, but once again, she gave me exactly what I was looking for on this shoot.
