Rebekah + Leo || The River House
I’m coming at you guys with a hefty blog post today from Rebekah + Leo’s amazing mountain wedding in Index, WA! Seriously, my website only allows 250 images per blog post and it was super hard to narrow this one down to just that. There were so many fun highlights of their day that there was no way I couldn’t share them all with you!
Rebekah’s family managed to rent the oldest, most historical house in the town of Index, located just west of Steven’s Pass, for the wedding party to hang out at and get ready in. The house sat right on the river with a perfect view of Mt. Index, and the girls started their morning by getting ready out in the early sunshine. Talk about a hard to beat getting ready space.
Then we all went to their venue, which was just down the street, called The River House. Rebekah and Leo had their first look down by the water and you guys. You guys are not going to be emotionally prepared for these photos. Rebekah played a song on guitar and sang to Leo and it was unreal. Freaking amazing. Definitely the most emotional first look and one of the most emotional moments of all my weddings this summer. I don’t think I’ll ever forget it!
Their ceremony was also filled with all kinds of wonderful things, including Rebekah’s sister playing the violin as she walked down the aisle, the train that went over the bridge during their ceremony, and some super sweet and heartfelt vows. Then, their first dance was seriously the best thing ever: they played a Kendrick Lamar song, had the silliest dance moves, and then invited their friends to join them. And then they had the most epic dance party ever. I had such a blast getting to capture everything and loved how much fun everyone was having!
I hope you enjoy this gallery packed full of some beautiful and hilarious moments! I’m so happy that Rebekah + Leo had me travel to the west side to capture their day, and can’t wait to work with them more in the future!
