Amanda + Austin || Engaged

So, this one has been a long time coming. We were originally supposed to shoot their session last fall, but every time the day would come around, one of us was sick! We all took turns getting sick all winter and having to reschedule multiple times, but it couldn't have worked out any better because we got to shoot Amanda and Austin's engagement session on the first really sunny, warm day of the year! Apparently good things come to those who wait. 

I immediately knew I was going to love working with this couple when the first e-mail I received from Amanda explained that her and Austin had recently gotten engaged in Banff and were looking for a wedding photographer. Engaged in BANFF, guys. If any of you guys know me you know I'm in love with all things Banff National Park and I'm already dreaming up my next trip there! I snagged one of the photos from their proposal just so you guys can understand how magical it is up there!

I got to run around downtown with these two and their adorable mini Australian Shepherd, Marcy. One of my favorite things about Marcy is her adorable, derby face, which you'll definitely be seeing a few times throughout their session 😋 (hint hint, Austin and Amanda: she would make a fantastic flower girl!) I love when people bring their dog(s) to any session and I highly encourage any of my future clients to do the same!

I had a blast getting crafty with all the classic Spokane sights: rustic brick walls, old buildings, alleys, some of Riverfront park, and all the cute little nooks and corners that make up the restaurants and shops downtown. I'm a nature girl through and through but this session was so refreshing in comparison to where I usually shoot!

I've put together some of my favorites for you all to enjoy! I can't wait for their Mt. Spokane wedding this summer, it's definitely going to be a good one!
